More Capsule Wardrobe Stores I Like

Woman in white linen vest and cuffed jeans dressing to look taller

Here I’m wearing my VIVAIA Aria pointed flats at the airport.

Yes, we have a few more capsule brands to cover! The honorable mentions below feature pieces to both elevate and simplify your closet.

VIVAIA

A capsule wardrobe isn’t complete without the perfect shoe, and VIVAIA is a brand I personally recommend. I own two pairs of their pointed-toe flats, and they are true workhorses in my closet.

They make any outfit feel more dainty and polished than sneakers, but are comfortable enough for a full day of walking. As someone who is always getting her steps in, they earn my walking-woman approval.

Marcella NYC

For timeless pieces with a modern, architectural edge, I absolutely love Marcella NYC. Their designs are minimalist but never boring. I’m a huge fan of their Cooper Top—it’s one of those rare, magical pieces that is somehow both subtly sexy and completely work-appropriate, allowing it to straddle the line for so many occasions.

How I Chose These Capsule Wardrobe Brands

Firsthand Experience

I’ve been building my own capsule wardrobe, which takes some trial and error. During the process, I’ve come to appreciate brands that now serve as my go-to for wardrobe staples. So I made sure to include some of them on this list. I own and love pieces from Reformation, Quince, and Everlane, to name a few.

Garment Quality

Since capsule pieces are meant to be worn on repeat in different combinations, durability is essential. I prioritize capsule wardrobe clothes that withstand frequent wear and last for many seasons. The brands above have proven their commitment to producing well-made clothing that stands the test of time.

Versatility

When curating this list, I focused on brands that offer versatile options. From Everlane’s tank dress to Quince’s button-down silk top, the pieces on this list are so flexible. I picked capsule wardrobe companies that prioritize versatility and comfort, ensuring you can style the pieces in lots of ways.

Capsule Clothing FAQS
